Thanks to rigorous testing conducted by internationally recognized certification bodies, the HP71XEx IIA has obtained IECEx and ATEX certifications, reducing accident risks and ensuring the safety of users and operators.

Equipped with a high-power 2 W speaker, the radio delivers louder and clearer sound. By integrating an AI-based intelligent noise-reduction algorithm, automatic gain control (AGC), and multiple advanced audio technologies, the HP71XEx IIA effectively isolates noisy environments and resolves low-volume issues—making critical communications more reliable.

With 5 W (VHF) and 4 W (UHF) transmission power, the coverage area is significantly expanded. Critical information can be received even in remote locations, reducing coverage blind spots, enabling rapid response, and improving coordination during mission-critical operations.

Designed with a high-grade battery protection board and a secure locking mechanism, the HP71XEx IIA prevents any risk of sparking—even in the event of accidental drops—ensuring safe operation in hazardous environments.

The radio also alerts users via the display and a flashing red LED indicator when non-original batteries are used, reducing potential safety risks. In addition, the high-capacity intelligent intrinsically safe (IS) battery, combined with power-saving technologies, lowers standby power consumption and supports extended communications—ideal for long shifts and seamless team handovers.

Thanks to new explosion-proof materials and an advanced mechanical design, the HP71XEx IIA operates reliably in temperatures ranging from –25°C to +50°C in explosion-hazard (Ex) zones.
